Bookish Travel
Being in quarentine during this unprecedented time in our history, I have been itching to go travel and see something other than my hometown. It has made me wonder where I can go that has a bookish theme. Here are some of the bookish places I have been in the past that I can’t wait to go back to in the future!

Views from the Hay Festival
The Hay Festival
One of my very favorite bookish vacations was to the Hay Festival in Wales. For almost a week I lived in a yurt and was able to attend author events and visit bookstores. The town of Hay has the most used bookstores in the world and bibliophiles everywhere descended onto the town the last week in May.
Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland
While in Ireland we had a few days in Dublin and I was really excited to see the Book of Kells. What surprised me was when you left the area that the Book of Kells is in, it drops you of in the Long Room. What a beautiful space full of books.
Maryland State Fair
You can make any place a bookish place! For my back to school bulletin board I wanted a picture of me reading to a piglet at the Maryland State Fair! That year we received a lot of photos of teachers reading in unexpected places. So use your imagination and read!
